A game created entirely on an iPad is now put as a stand-alone app on the App Store

App Store has some tools to help to create games with simple drag-and-drop and methods. However, only a few of them allows users to export the game as a stand-alone app and publish to the App Store. Cargo-Bot, a newly released game, is an example.

Cargo-Bot is a puzzle game. You need to teach a robot how to move crates. The graphics and the feeling is not that bad. It’s created entirely using Codea.

Codea is like the GarageBand for games. Users only need to drag-and-drop the elements, and use the simple Lua language to make the game. Normally, the game can only be played inside Codea. But now, users can use Codea Runtime Library as stand-alone games. They can publish it to the App Store when they have got the Apple’s Developers accounts.
