Some of the Android devices can be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The interesting thing is that the old HP TouchPad, which is running webOS, can also get the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Video and more are available after the break.
HP TouchPad was dead because HP won’t be releasing more webOS devices in the future. However, the hackers are hacking the TouchPad by porting the Android in the device. Today, it’s even getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The instructions can be found at here or here. Note many hardwares including audio and front-facing camera won’t be working after porting, the hardware video and graphics acceleration are not working as well.
