Digg Reader will be available for everyone by June 26. It will first available on the desktop and iOS app at first. Digg promises to provide clean and fast experience. Existing Google Readers will be able to migrate and transfer their subscriptions quickly.

The Guardian has held the exclusive Q&A for readers with the NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. There are many questions being asked. Some of them are noticeable. More after the break.

Being asked whether Snowden is working for the Chinese government as a spy, he said he had no contact with the Chinese government. He only work with the journalists. He claims the government can get your data easily with “analyst”. Warrant is not required. The worst thing is that those data can be saved for a long time.

He adds, “All I can say right now is the US Government is not going to be able to cover this up by jailing or murdering me. Truth is coming, and it cannot be stopped.”

Major tech companies including Microsoft, Apple, Google and Facebook all denies the claim about the PRISM. Snowden claims, “Their denials went through several revisions as it become more and more clear they were misleading and included identical, specific language across companies”

After Microsoft and Facebook, Apple has finally spoken up about the user data requests from the US government. From December 2012 to May 2013, Apple has received 4000-5000 requests.

The requests are not just from FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) enquiries. It also includes requests for information to help find missing persons or solve crimes. Those 4,000-5,000 requests are related to 9000-10000 accounts or devices.

Apple reassures the government have no direct access to their servers. Apple said they only “retrieve and deliver the narrowest possible set of information to the authorities. In fact, from time to time when we see inconsistencies or inaccuracies in a request, we will refuse to fulfill it.”

To recap, Microsoft has received 6000-7000 requests in the last 6 months. And Facebook has got 19000 users accounts being queried by the government.

In this image, you can see the lightning port. During the WWDC 2013, Apple introduced the iOS 7 with first time ever support for support for MFi game controllers to its SDK. This means that developers can easily write gaming apps for the platform using physical hardware keys.

Microsoft has demonstrated the Xbox One during E3. However, Microsoft has cheated by placing the Windows 7 machines, rather than the Xbox One, at the E3 booth to demonstrate game plays.

Source has discovered Microsoft is using the Windows 7 machines with NVIDIA GeForce 700-series GTX graphic card, when it’s needed to be restarted. This seems acceptable since the Xbox One hardware is not actually finalized.

There is no iPhone 5 in the recent WWDC 2013 keynote, so let the rumors start floating around the world again. Reuters said Apple could be launching the iPhone with 4.7″ and 5.7″ screens in the 2014. iPhone 5S and low-cost iPhone may be coming soon in this September.

Please note it is still unclear whether Apple will actually launch its flagship product in the larger sizes. Sources said Apple always changing things at the very last moment.

Facebook has the first data center outside the US, finally. The newest data center is in Luleå, Sweden which is a small town at the northern tip of the Baltic Sea. The temperature has not been above 30°C for more than 24 hours since 1961.

The data center is now live and handling live traffic from around the world. All the equipment inside is powered by locally generated hydro-electric energy.

For the recent storm about the PRISM, The Guardian was trying to hide the whistleblower. The whistleblower, Edward Snowden, actually doesn’t want to hide at the beginning because he thinks he has done nothing wrong. Full interview after the break.

He is 29-year-old who had worked as a technical assistant at the CIA. He is currently employed at Booz Allen Hamilton and took the medical leave in Hong Kong. Booz Allen Hamilton is a firm contracted by the US Department of Defence.

He said he has no regret of doing so, because he wants the public to know the US government is building something that destroy privacy and Internet freedom.

After signing the agreement with Warner Music, the launch of Apple’s iRadio is becoming more and more possible. Report said Apple has successfully agreed to deal with the Sony Music. The launch seems imminent.
